Meet our Doctors

Dr. Lydia Dennis

Hello! My patients call me “Dr. Lydia.” I was born and raised in Mississippi and am Southern through and through. I attended Mississippi State University and graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 1997. I went on to do a year of DNA research at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. In 1998, I got accepted into The University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine (now KCUMB) in Kansas City, MO. I met my husband there as a 2nd year medical student. We were married my 4th year of medical school while doing clinical rotations in Oklahoma City through St. Anthony Hospital. Greg and I did our residency training at Via Christi Family Medicine in Wichita, KS. After graduating, I did a brief stint working full-time ER with Emergency Services of Kansas in Newton. Our son was born soon after and I decided to stay home and work part time. We moved back to the Oklahoma City metro in 2007. Our initial employer was SSM in Mustang. Two years later, we moved to Mercy Yukon Clinic. I worked for Mercy 10 years, then decided to open my own practice in April of 2019 to realize a life-long dream. I can now say I am doing my best work!

My Practice

I practice holistic medicine because I honor the fact that God has made us as unique individuals. We are only whole when our minds, bodies and spirits are whole. My interest is in providing individualized care to patients who want a strong relationship with their doctor. I listen and think outside of the box. My goal is always to optimize your health. The Direct Primary Care model has allowed me to break down traditional barriers to healthcare and do my best work caring for patients. I offer a broad menu of services we can tailor to meet your healthcare needs. Welcome to my practice!

Meet our Staff

Veronica("V")

Hey Y’all, My name is Veronica but everyone calls me “V”. I worked with Dr Lydia for many years prior to this clinic. When she mentioned starting this adventure, I was excited and honored to share this with her. I came along when she opened the clinic back in April of 2019. Vibrant Life has been an amazing life change for me. I used to play every role here but Dr haha! Now I’m the person in the back, working hard to obtain all the supplies/medications we need to take care of our patients. As The Operations Manager I make sure we give you a welcoming & Vibrant environment. I also help the other nurses & receptionist as needed. The part that makes me love coming here daily is the interaction we have with our patients. This clinic is so laid back I see everyone as MY friends. I go home daily with satisfaction knowing I tried to help everyone, even if it’s just by sharing a smile. I love being a member of The Vibrant Life family.

Carrie

I am excited to join the VLDC family as the Receptionist in Mustang. I love meeting new people who then become friends.

I grew up in Kansas and the Midwest has always been home. Outside of work, I serve on staff with my husband at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Mustang. In my free time, I enjoy yard sale-ing and spending time with my amazing husband and kids.

Emily

Hi I’m Emily and I am the Tuttle receptionist. I’m so excited to be a part of the VLDC team. This office truly cares about every person that walks through the door so when I decided to enter back into the workforce after being a stay at home mom for many years I knew VLDC would be the perfect place for me. My favorite part of the job is being able to visit everyday with our patients, who feel more like family to me. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my kids and husband going on adventures, watching movies, baking, or participating in our newest family hobby Brazilian Jiu jitsu. I am truly blessed to be apart of this wonderful team and can’t wait to meet you in Tuttle!
